This is a courtesy reminder that your 2024 Maryland Annual Report and Personal Property Tax Return is due on or before, Friday, April 15. Please do not miss this important deadline. (MUST be filed by ALL businesses that are incorporated, qualified or registered to do business in the State of Maryland as of January 1st, even if you do not have property in Maryland.). Failure to file by April 15 may result in revocation. Reports can be filed electronically at http://dat.maryland.gov/businesses/Pages/Business-Personal-Property.aspx.
Starting in 2017, Maryland’s Department of Assessments and Taxation created a List Serve for notifications from the Business Personal Property Valuation Unit. Beginning in 2018, the Department will no longer mail postcards reminding businesses to file their Annual Report and Personal Property Tax Return. Instead businesses may signup of reminder emails via this List Serve link.
